January 23 – Rotary on Ice

The meeting will take place at the ice rink at Bryant Park (NOT to be confused with Rockefeller Center). Skating at Bryant Park is free, if you have your own skates. There are rentals available for $14, and lockers to store your belongings are also free, if you bring your own lock (locks can also be purchased on site for $9). The meeting will be hosted by Norbert Schramm and Susanne Gellert. We will be meeting directly on the ice of the Bryant Park ice rink, once you have geared up. Non-skaters are welcome to join us as well, since there is a wonderful lounge, where you can grab a drink and something to eat with a view of the rink.
Please note that the club is not charging for this meeting as it is free to skate at Bryant Park, however, we encourage attendees to donate $15 to support the Coalition for the Homeless service project. The money would be used to buy hats, scarves, and mittens for the homeless.
