The Rotary E-Club of Wall Street New York adds innovation to Rotary’s traditional spirit. Our club utilizes technology to connect professionals from local communities around the world. As Rotarians, we follow the Motto “Service Above Self” and lead by example through volunteering and raising funds for causes close to us.
The Rotary E-Club of Wall Street is leveraging its global membership to connect the world in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change— across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. Thank you for supporting our below efforts during these trying times.
Smiff Lormier is a young Haitian entrepreneur and a longtime friend of our Rotary Club. With help from our members, Lormier developed skills and connections to start a successful business manufacturing backpacks for Haitian youth.
Today- in response to the global pandemic- Lormier is stepping up to transform his manufacturing chain to produce non-medical masks in hopes of protecting the local elderly population.
The Rotary E-Club of Wall Street is once again investing in Smiff Lormier and the Haiti economy by procuring masks. Together, we will provide critical face masks to vulnerable communities in Haiti and New York City during the ongoing pandemic– but we need your help.
We are purchasing and distributing soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and feminine hygiene products for 3,000+ homeless and low-income individuals in our communities of New York City, Berlin, and Hamburg, Germany.
1 hygiene kit = $1.Donate today to make a difference in our community and around the world.
Our Rotary Club is at the forefront of technology as the 1st E-Club in District 7230, with two years of hosting online meetings, global service projects and in-person and virtual socials.
During this time when social distancing is critical for our health– and maintaining fellowship is critical for our souls– our members have recorded insights and helped train traditional Rotary Clubs in our District with using online platforms. We have also offered our Zoom services to Rotarians interested in testing technology.
